Do we need a pool pass?

Yes. All households MUST register online. Each registered household can request up to 7 total passes. We will issue them either as Adult or Child (12 and under). Pool passes may be picked up at the pool this season. Simply bring ID on your first visit to receive them. To ensure your passes will be ready opening weekend, please register online by April 30th . Registrations received AFTER April 30th will NOT receive guest passes.

Who can get a membership to the pool?

Only homeowners in the North Crossing subdivision, who are current with their Homeowners Association dues ($0 balance), will be allowed to have a membership to the pool. The costs to operate, manage, and maintain the pool is a part of the yearly homeowner’s assessment; there is no additional cost to you.

When will the pool open?

Beginning Saturday, May 25th, through Monday, September 2nd, the pool will be open daily including Sundays and Holidays. During school days the pool will be opened from 4:00pm-8:00pm and on non-school days the operating hours are as follows:

  • Monday through Friday 12:00pm – 8:00pm

  • Saturday, Sunday & Holidays 10:00am – 8:00pm

Who will manage the pool?

Continental Pools will manage the North Crossing pool. Continental provides a full-time manager, certified lifeguards, and performs the operation and maintenance of the pool. Any questions about the pool operation may be directed to them at (301) 498-1000.

Can I rent the pool for private parties before or after normal operations?

Private parties will not be offered. However, the pool can be used for parties, but will not be closed to other residents. To use the pool for parties, complete the online application and submit two (2) weeks in advance of the party date. There will be a $50.00 deposit required and there may be a charge should additional life guards be needed, plus $2 per guest at the party.

What rules will govern the pool operation and are guests allowed?

The North Crossing Pool Rules as re-affirmed by the Board of Directors on February 23, 2011. Each homeowner is responsible for reviewing the rules with their household members as well as their guests. Continental Pools staff will be advised to strictly enforce the Board-approved rules for the safety and enjoyment of everyone. The rules apply to Continental’s Management Staff as well. Will other events be held at the pool?

It’s possible. Any happenings will be posted on the Bulletin Board in the pool house. However, keep in mind for these types of events to be held, volunteers from the community are needed. If you wish to volunteer, please notify Clagett Management.

What if I discover a problem at the pool or with the lifeguard staff?

Continental Pools is responsible for full management of the pool and its staff. If any problems are discovered, please bring them to the immediate attention of the lifeguard staff and/or Continental Pools by calling (301) 498-1000 or emailing the North Crossing HOA email:
